The exhibition »Hör!Spiel!« presents the 80 year old history of broadcasting from a different point of view. Throughout the visions and the experiments of the people dealing with the radio, we are approaching a medium which is far more than a technical instrument for bare information transfer.
Original sound documents represent the sole exhibits. The design of the showrooms incorporate the most distinctive characteristic of the radio to communicate only via audio signals and to supply no visual enhancements. Thus it was an important to develop a visual language which on the one hand supports the sound and on the other hand stimulates the imagination of the visitors.
In order to demonstrate the feasibility of the exhibition, we physically created the interactive installation »Der Du Da Bist«, an audio play by Franz Mohn.

Interactive Installation that invites the visitor to experiences the phenomenon of stereophony and experiment with the effects of sound in space. The installation can be used by 16 persons at the same time.
