On the occasion of the Darwin year 2009 the cooperation among the Mediendom Kiel, the Botanic Garden of the Christian Albrechts-University Kiel and Tilt Design Studio created a show about the life of Charles Darwin and in particular about his discoveries on orchids. 
In the lifetime of Charles Darwin orchids had been one of the most valuable and exotic plants. Considering that his studies on their reproduction and maintenance had been even more significant. Last but not least his discoveries also contributed to his key work “The origin of species”.

The project was sponsored by the VolkswagenStiftung and is already being screened in various planetariums around Germany.
